The Pike season is in full swing here .. congratulations day ticket Lee for landing a fantastic 20lb 10oz beauty this week. Also Mason, a lovely 16lb-er and Peter our regular pike angler added another @ 16lb and a few jacks to his tally. Well done all.

Autumn, and the Pike season, are in full flow here at Shillinglee...leaves are on the turn and we have seen some great angling successes since the season started.

 Also deserving of our heart-felt congratulations is Paul, who has realised a long-held dream of catching a Carp in the 30lb+ range by landing a MASSIVE 37lb 8oz Mirror! Well done Paul.

The vast improvement in the weather has lifted our spirits here at Shillinglee... what a difference the sun makes! Congratulations to Steve for two fabulous Mirrors, mid 20s & 30lb 4oz! We have celebrated some fabulous captures so far in June, come and test your skills in the sunshine, our welcome is as warm as the weather! We take card and cash, have plenty of parking, loos and space around the lake, no need to book.

Huge congratulations to Amanda, who celebrated her first ever Pike capture last week, landing a whopping 24lb 2oz beauty.

Also well done Des, who landed a stunning 20lb 6oz Pike, Richard, 16lb 4oz Pike, day ticket Steve 28lb 4oz Common, Charlie two lovely 20lb Common and Paul a huge 25lb Common.

Congratulations Lee, one of our day ticket holders who enjoyed a fabulous day here at Shillinglee, landing 3 Pike weighing 21lb 8oz, 16lb and 8lb. The heaviest was a PB for Lee... well done!

The milder weather has brought a flurry of activity on our lakes, especially amongst our pike fishing community... some amazing captures to report. Congratulations Jonathan, 21lb pike, Des 21lb 4oz and 13lb 6oz pike, and numerous others up to 21lb.

Also congratulations Howard 30lb Mirror and 18lb Common, and Paul who landed a whopping 37lb Mirror... one of  the heaviest caught here for several years!

As we say goodbye to January, with its extremes of weather from warm & damp to frozen solid, we reflect on a great month for our anglers. Special mention to our dedicated Pike fishing community, in particular Peter, who amongst others recently landed a fabulous 19lb 4oz Pike to add to his considerable tally so far this season.

Richard has also been smashing it with 14lb 9oz and 13lb 12oz beauties, and Michael, one of our juniors, celebrated a PB 16lb 8oz! Well done all!!

2024 has got off to a cracking start here at Shillinglee. Happy New Year to all our regular anglers, and if you're thinking of coming along for the first time, you are guaranteed a very warm welcome!
